Description: A custom lava simulation created using Houdini and rendered using Mantra. The simulation has variable viscosity with temperature mapped to noise patterns. The temperature in turn drives the viscosity thus affecting the flow of the liquid. Shaded using Mantra shaders. Temperature values control the light emission as well as the hard surface displacement.
